Auto travel in Kerala!!

I had been to Kerala a couple of days back. The train reached Palakkad station at 4.30 in the morning. I had no clue of the place. So the only option of travel left to me was by auto. I was pondering as to how much they would charge for ride. The ride was for about 15 kilometers and just when I was thinking that the ride would severely cost me, the driver demanded a mere Fifty bucks. I was left stunned! Had this been a ride in Chennai, it would have cost me nearly three hundred rupees. I walked into my hotel room happy that things are better in Kerala!!
