Hitting the road…

After learning about the gears, it was time to hit the roads. My instructor told me about the sequence of using the gears and the accelerator so as to make a smooth start. We have to be starting with the first gear to get the car moving and then switch to the second to get a smooth run. Then once the car moves smoothly, we can switch to the third or the fourth gear so that it only takes a little of acceleration to gain some good speed. And most importantly, every time you change gear, you need to apply the clutch.

The Highly volatile IPL!!

More than 75% of the matches have been played and guess what, there’s no clear message as to which all teams are going to go to the semifinals of this mega grand event called IPL! The only team that has been ruled out of contention is Kolkatta Knight Riders, with just one win from 11 matches and 3 points to their credit. The rest are still battling it out hard. Delhi Daredevils however is sitting pretty and looks good to get through. They have 7 wins from 9 matches! Chennai are looking set to storm into the semis with 13 points. The other 2 spots however are thrown open to the entire field. Each of the teams competing for those 2 spots has quality players who are potential match winners. The race to the semis looks hot and promises to be nail-biting!
