My Project!!

We were searching for a good topic for our final year compulsory project. That is when we thought about the widely developed and vast internet world and the ever increasing hacking and security problems related with that. So we decided to provide high level of security and authentication services to these networks. It is basically based on cryptography and has a lot of complex algorithms included in order to provide the maximum security without compromising on the performance! We did achieve this! The graphs that we plotted clearly depicted that there is an optimum trade off between the security and the performance in this prototype! Hurray! Project completed!!

MANET

MANET stands for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks. Are you wondering why I am suddenly talking about MANET? That’s because it is the backbone of my final year project that I just completed! MANET is in actual a group of random nodes that form a self configuring network and have a number of wireless links attached to them. These wireless links are nodes which keep moving and shifting their positions because of the ‘mobile’ nature of the network. This increases the complexity and computational load of the network as the random nodes keep moving and dynamically change the links with the other nodes in the system. We have tried to provide enhanced security and authentication to the network. This is the outline of my project!
